I love the concept of the iSwift Pi Laptop Lap Desk. Have tried many different travel desks and this is by far my favorite. just extra pieces of plastic that I don't really know the reason for.
Also in the photos there is what appears to be handles but they aren't really. There is no storage case, which would have been nice. If adjusted to be level it is stable enough with just a little wobble. The stability seems to depend on how wide you set the legs, if they are too far in the desk will be wobbly. The magnets are strong and it is easily set to new arrangements to work for different uses. I don't think any of these types of desks are built to be used other than infrequently. It does not include the storage sleeve and is slightly smaller, but it does have a sturdier build. It has a similar build and design at a much lower price point (currently $40 while this is $130). I did also try the AUSQI Laptop Bed Tray Desk. Apparently it has been treated with something that my cats find irresistible as they are constantly trying to use it like a scratching pad. This did include a handy storage case to protect it during travel. Also the size is on the small side so you are limited in the use.
There is some wobble regardless of how I adjust it. I did find, however, that the lightweight means it is not as sturdy. It has a lot of different ways to arrange it for different uses and I appreciate that flexibility. This is lightweight and very easy to store or carry. The packaging could and should be improved at this price point. Thanks to Amazon they replaced it, but that is a red flag to order with enough time if you need the same. The first one arrived in a yellow bubble wrap package and was damaged.
